Dr Raphael Chae graduated from Monash University in Melbourne in 2015. He then undertook internship at Box Hill Hospital and held positions as surgical resident and surgical registrar at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne.
He has worked across various surgical units before changing to a general stream residency in 2022, which he completed at the Canberra Hospital.
In addition to his medical degree, he also holds a Graduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy from the University of Melbourne, and he has completed the Sydney Child Health Program in 2022
