Dr Faizy graduated from James Cook University, Queensland in 2018 with the University Academic Medal.
She has also completed the Sydney Child Health Program (previously known as Diploma in Child Health) through the University of Sydney in 2022.
She has worked at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Canterbury Hospital, Blacktown, Mt Druitt Hospitals and Bathurst Base Hospital and has experience in General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Cardiology, Neurology, Respiratory, Endocrinology, General Surgery, Geriatrics, Palliative Care, and Rehabilitation.
She is passionate about Preventative Health, Chronic Disease Management especially Diabetes management, Women’s Health, Antenatal Care, Child Health and Mental Health.
Faizy has a passion for quality primary healthcare, centred on compassionate care, that treats not only disease but treats the patient, holistically, in every aspect that makes them human, and improves the health outcomes of the areas they live in. She believes in practising medicine in such a way that you are not only a doctor but a healer, a listener, an advocate, a helping hand. Her hobbies include, exploring nature, spending time with family and writing poetry.
